Is there a dress code?
Plug operates a casual dress code so jeans and trainers are allowed. If you’d like to check if a particular item of clothing is allowed – please call the office between 10am-6pm.
What time do you open?
We open at different times depending on the event, therefore please check the listings for door times.
Is there a paying guest list?
Guestlist privileges are available for Plug Staff, Plug friends, press, DJ guests, competition winners and companies affiliated with Plug. Guestlist closes for free entry at Midnight every night.
Plug also operates a guaranteed entry system. Please call 0114 2413040 and press option 3, and follow the instructions, before 6pm on the day of the event. All guaranteed entrys must be at the event prior to 11pm.

In the event of you losing an item at Plug, please call the office to check to see if your item has been found. It can take a day or so for items to be retrieved, so if it can't be found immediately, it may still turn up. However, Plug cannot take any responsibility for items lost in the venue - if it is too valuable to lose, don't bring it to a club!
If there is no-one to take your call, simply leave your message on the box office answer phone. Include as much information as you can about the item, as this should hopefully speed the process along.
Items found in the club, or left in the cloakroom, will be kept for a period of 3 months. After this, they will be donated to charity. You have been warned!
What are the set times for the Bands & DJs?
For various reasons we are unable to confirm set times. Please make sure you are down early to avoid disappointment.Band & DJ agent contact information
For security reasons, we are not allowed to give out these details.
We advise you search the Internet for their booking agent’s info or their management team who will be able to help you further with your enquiry.
Also – check their inlays in their CD’s. They often have this information there.
Submitting demos & mixes
If you are a band or DJ you can fill in our online form at the following address:

On this form you can upload a tune but this is restricted to 7Mb which won't be enough for DJ's submitting mixes. Therefore the alternative is to send your demos to the following address:
