Goldenvoice presents Does It Offend You, Yeah? + Hounds
Critically acclaimed dance-punk band Does It Offend You, Yeah? play The Plug in Sheffield on 6th April. The group is famous of their energetic live shows and have been positively compared to an eclectic range of leading contemporary bands including Muse, Justice, The Killers and Gorillaz.
Does It Offend You, Yeah? formed in Reading by James Rushent and Dan Coop in 2006. Their debut album You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into released in spring 2008 gained the group wide acclaim for their genre bending sound. Credited with a rich live sound, the band have been live favourites around the world playing the biggest rock and dance festivals, in addition to their own sell out tours. DIOYY have also been commissioned to remix for some of the hottest bands including, Bloc Party, The Raconteurs, The White Stripes, Muse and Hadouken.
In addition to putting the band on the map, the debut album produced several hits and was picked up for several high profile syncs, for film and TV shows; Gossip Girl, Human Target, Chuck and for video games; Saints Row 2, Fifa Street 3 and Grand Tourismo 5.
