/// Hudson Mohawke
The precocious Glaswegian who put himself on the map with the smart, glossy, hyper-real debut album 'Butter' in October last year is finally setting off for a long overdue UK tour, along with vocalist and collaborator Olivier Daysoul.

Read on for more info, his third installment in his Valentines Slowjams Mixtape series and a new bootleg of Jodeci in the vein of his Ooops release.

Anyone who has seen Hudson recently will know that his live show promises a joyride through genres and tempos - led by one of the new masters of the scene. Accompanying him on the road will be theatrical ringmaster and host Olivier Daysoul who contributed his vocal talents to the album including the anthemic ‘Joy Fantastic’ & the swingbeat infused 'I Just Decided', and Hepcat Radio originator miss Mamiko Motto on several of the dates.

///Mamiko Motto
Mamiko Motto has scoured the planet for the good good sounds. Like the very best of DJs she is not a name assigned to genre or styles, but rather Mamiko is a taste-maker concerned with the pure idea at the core of music. The 'sensibility' that has carried from hard bop to hip hop and now, so much further. Born in Lithuania, she moved to Antwerp age 17, to follow her hunger for music. It wasn't long before her self-produced and self-hosted radio show 'Hepcat' became the top ranking show on Antwerp's "Radio Centraal” 106.7FM. The show maintained its success throughout it's 3 years. By 2003, her website was spotted by the net radio pioneers at Samurai.fm, and she started her second foray, the legendary: 'didureally'.

Mamiko's devine search for music has drawn her around the world. She moved to London in 2005 to work with Samurai FM and the 'Other Worlds' crew, before becoming the international promotions manager to the Kindred Spirits and Rush Hour family in Amsterdam. She played regular shows on the national radio stations Lijn 5 and Radio 6, as well as running the Rednose Distrikt residency at the halcion 'dam venue Bitterzoet. It was there, filming interviews that she linked with Scotland's LuckyMe crew, and started the next chapter of her musical adventure.

2009 saw her move back to London and re-start the Hepcat Radio brand (www.hepcatradio.net). She collaborated with Hudson Mohawke, and recorded a remix of Jimi Tenor's 'Paint The Stars' under the alias 'Wednesday Nite' for the Warp 20th anniversary limited edition box set. As a result she spent 2009 as Hud Mo's highly acclaimed support DJ, playing everywhere from Japan to Australia to the United States.

This year she continues to expand Hepcat Radio alongside continued A&R duties for dutch Nod Navigators label. Besides developing the careers of artists like Dorian Concept and Mweslee, 2010 sees Mamiko working on her debut 12" release and continuing to play shows alongside her musical family. Despite her musical journey, it seems Mamiko has learnt that you carry the good good sounds with you where ever you may be called.

///Shake Aletti
"What can only be described as POPFUNK. In a league of their own, Shake Aletti are going to carve into the industry. Inspirational stuff!"

"Shake Aletti - ‘The Way He Does’ The Steel City comes correct yet once more! This duo from Sheffield are as in touch with their heritage as fellow townsman Toddla T, but they succeed in redirecting the Bleep towards much poppier realms…………”

- 'National Mercury Prize Recommends'

"Does the united kingdom ever run out of amazing new artists? Sheffield-based 'Popfunk' duo Shake Aletti are blending the catchy pop of Hot Chip with P-funk, ending up with what should be a number one song on the charts in a better world. In Discodust world, they are right on top for tonight.

The lyrics alone - "that's just the way that he does it, girl. you're gonna have to get used to that" should have the 'big things ahead' alarm bells ringing when 'The Way He Does' kicks off! Choose your flavour, Shake Aletti are giving tracks away for our enjoyment, so get them already!

If these guys don't end up with a deal soon, i will stop drinking forever, and you know what that means! So head over to the Shake Aletti myspace and show them love!"
