Kalenko + Delta Rush + Skintight Rocket + Stripey Jack

Kalenko: Kalenko was born when two of its members were both frequenting a local music establishment within the steel city of Sheffield. Frustrated by the lack of original or creative indie music being played and sick of the same blaring songs heard week after week, went to the DJ booth to complain. Realising that they had a similar dis-taste for the vinyl being spun they begun to talk. With the addition of Andy on bass, and more recently, Scott ..s and guitar, Kalenko began to play together simply for the gratification of playing the music they loved. Soon they would play shows at some of Sheffield's most renowned venues, and showcase their performance nationwide. With each member coming from the cultural hotbeds of Carlisle, Coventry and Skegness Kalenko have adopted Sheffield as their home town and seek to offer an alternative to the endless number of Arctic Monkeys rip-offs.

Delta Rush:Legend has it, a long time ago, near an ancient delta, there stood a tribal village of fishermen and Witchdoctor.Every night, the villagers hysteria would grow, anticipating the return of the delta creature. Sure enough, he would drift through, wide-eyed and mouth gurning uncontrollably.Searching for a remedy, his behaviour was mistaken as a threat. The Villagers tirelessly fought off the monster night after night, but to them, why he came always remained a mystery…Some years later, 5 lads formed a band called Delta Rush; writing can-kicking tunes to keep your monsters dancing.
