/// N'FA (No Fixed Abode)
Introducing N’FA (No Fixed Abode)…A London born rapper who hit the headlines at the end of last year after it was revealed that the last video the late and great Heath Ledger conceptualised and directed before his untimely death was for a song entitled ‘Cause An Effect’ http://www.youtube.com/nfamusic#p/a/u/1/_55ZdsfNqlI by little known hip hop artist N’FA. This single will finally be released on June 28th through N’FA’s own imprint Twisted Kids.
N’FA, who grew up in Australia but now lives in London, hit the international news headlines in late October last year (BBC home page, Sky News http://news.sky.com/skynews/Home/video/Heath-Ledgers-Last-Ever-Directed-... home page, LA Times, MSNBC, Channel 9 (Australia), NME.com home page) when a video directed by his late friend Heath Ledger was unveiled for the first time at the Cannes Film festival. The video was filmed, pre-Dark Knight, in Heath’s garage and features N’FA performing the song in Joker-esque style make-up. The video has since had over 270,000 views on YouTube.
Former front man of Australian ARIA award-winning hip hop band, 1200 Techniques, N’FA worked with ex-Bad Company http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_Company_(drum_and_bass_group) member Darren White aka dBridge http://www.beatportal.com/artists/d-bridge/ who produced ‘Cause An Effect’. Formed back in 1999, Bad Company were a critically acclaimed, ground-breaking drum & bass outfit that have inspired the likes of Pendulum and Chase & Status.
