Playground Mafia + Driftrun + Searching 4 Evidence + Stripey Jack + Last Nights Mistake + DJ Scorpo and J-SYNC
Playground Mafia
After lots of radio airplay and amazing support slots with the likes of Eric Prydz, Wiley, The Whip, Mongrel, etc its now time for the Mafia to headline the main stage at Plug.
Their mish mosh beats and booming bass lines are guaranteed to get the crowd bouncing with their version of how electro dance ought to be played.
Main man Matt has just had a remix of Reverend + The Makers No Soap ( In A Dirty war) chosen to be released as a single and the Mafia will be bringing their own debut single out sometime early/mid 2010. With Matt’s catchy vocals and production wizardry coupled with Michaels dirty bass and Andy’s edgy guitar licks and drum pad magic makes them a must see.
Come and join the Mafia at this epic gig, IT WOULD BE RUDE NOT TO !

The Mafia inviting some great bands to join them too :
Driftrun
Quality indie rockers fronted by one of the best vocalists around in Gilly. These guys play high energy melodic classics driven by a megga tight rhythm section of Rich and Tony overlaid with Chris’ infectious riffs.
After some high profile gigs and much radio airplay Driftrun’s live set has been positively reviewed by many with such comments as “simply amazing” Unloaded Mag, “absolutely magnificent” Counterfeit Mag and “a sound that makes you want to throw yourself around” Manchester Unsigned Mag.
Nuff said.
Searching 4 Evidence
Young whippersnappers who can show some of the bigger boys how to play indie rock, Searching 4 Evidence have been a sensation since starting to gig a year ago.
After winning Ballot Of The Bands in Sheffield they have also won Eliot Kennedy’s Limelight competition !
In vocalist / guitarist Lewis they have a star in the making, he defies his lack of years by giving some very assured performances. This is no one band band though, Jack on lead guitar plays some intricate catchy licks and they have a good rhythm section in Keiran and James, which when added to their original compositions makes these boys a magnet for young fans. Watch this space, you’ll be hearing a lot more of S4E.
Stripey Jack
Formed in 2006 these teenage “veterans” play their indie rock music loud and with feeling. Driving beats and Ryan’s raw vocals have brought the Jacks a big following who enjoy their energetic stage show. Being influenced by the likes of Kasabian and Elbow you know you’ll get your moneys worth with these rock stars in the making.
Last Nights Mistake
Last Nights Mistake are different. Unique. LOUD. Cannot be categorised.
NOT electro. NOT dance. NOT dub. INDIVIDUAL.
their aim is to re-invent the meaning of 'rave'. Re-think the defenition
of 'dance'. Alter your understanding of 'music'. They want tonight to be
tomorrow's mistake. The night you let yourself go. Do something stupid. Be
crazy. Go wild. They are LNM.
With DJ Scorpo and J-SYNC on the decks playing it large and loud and keeping you entertained between bands!
