iZZiE Voodoo...
A name that sticks in your head. A name that came out of the mouth of the mate of a girl who went to great lengths to ignore all musical trend and go her own way- and said because he felt that what he had heard had cast a spell - and that she had created her own musical form of voodoo- Izzie voodoo.

iZZiE's music conjures something that stays effervescing in your head in a pop induced frenzy for days, tantalizing your musical tastebuds with flavours from electronica to electro through dance into rock and even Goth with a buzz of industrial and a tinge of something sparkly from the 80's. Her live performances with her established band are tight and polished with added visuals, not a boring item of clothing in sight , delivered with as much determination and vibrance as you might expect from someone who is also steeped in Martial Arts and theatre.

Some of the songs from last year’s highly acclaimed album, (described by journalists as ‘slickly delivered rock electronica’; ‘modern fire with 80s electro, laced with punk energy and pop seasoning’; and ...an exhilarating and electrifying outing from this visionary digital experimentalist’ ) appear in the current live set (the highly popular 'Pyromania', the 2007 Song of the Year award winner, 'Sound', and occasionally the spine chillingly vivid 'Dry Heat') ; but iZZiE’s soon to be released electronica wild card ‘Control Freak’ (which snatched an early nomination into this year’s Song of the Year before it was even out of the studio) takes it by storm.

Vixen101.co.uk are reported as describing iZZiE as ‘very savvy and proactive. Very professional with great music’

Socrates Johnson
are a dual - guitar acoustic blues rock act who turn many heads.' 'Their sound to me was a bit of rock n roll with a blusey twist (you could say a cross between Tom petty and Neil Young).' 'Socrates are able to offer something a little fresher on the current underground scence and are definitely worth a look.' 'They strummed and harmonised like West Coast veterans' 'If you closed your eyes it could be Big Pink in '68.'
