My Luminaries are Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition (Early Bird) winners!!!

I am delighted to announce that out of 600 entrants, a panel of music experts including Michael and Emily Eavis, Huw Stephens and Q Magazine editor Paul Rees have chosen the fantabulous My Luminaries as winners of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition (Early Bird) competition!

The band will play a slot on the Queens Head Stage and remain in the running to win the overall competition.

Early Bird judge and Producer of the Queens Head Stage Dave Henderson said: "With their heady mix of great melody lines and infectious hooks, it sounds like My Luminaries have the coolest record collection ever. We're really looking forward to seeing them at the Festival."

Silent Film Project

Have a bright 2010 ahead of them. With an album due later in the year, and still enjoying the success of their 2009 release, "Two Days", the notoriously hard working band will be kicking off with a performance at The Plug on January 14th. Clocking up over 300 gigs in the past two years, the group have been doing some miles, and all that playing has got their live show down to something really special, getting feet dancing and critics writing everywhere they go.

"With an indie folk feel that you can’t help but get hooked to, bags of melody and beautiful vocals SFP are a fun, bubbly band who will charm your socks off before you’ve even realised." 5 stars - Music-News.com

"Catchy Brit-styled Death Cab-like indie rock that's likely to be the next big thing in the very near future" - banquetrecords.com

"A janglesome boy/girl indie pop malarkey that put me charmingly in mind of The Holloways" - Mark Beaumont, NME

The Last Standing

A quartet breaking through the illustrious Sheffield music scene. This band blend slick pop/rock grooves with strong beats and melodies that will refuse to stop being played over and over in your head.

The Winding Sheet

5 boys and 1 girl, in a band, playing music.
Influences include: springsteen, matthew ryan, paul westerberg, will johnson, bill, hicks, wilco.....
They will be recording some live footage from this show to use on the next music video! And are about to release their first E.P.
