Plug Soundclash presents Feelix + Whiskey Cove + Scoundrel + Mark Nichols Band
Feelix was formed in March 2009 by Nick Atkinson and Kat Eaton, who also write the material. John Watterson and Jeremy Meek are top session musicians who have played with artists such as Joan Armatrading, Elkie Brooks, Chris Rea, Grimethorpe Colliery Band and Paul Carrack. Nick and Kat are regarded as two of the best up and coming musicians/songwriters in Sheffield. They have dedicated themselves to the live music scene, putting on several live events in different venues in Sheffield to help support other young singer-songwriters. Since they formed, they have supported artists such as Teitur and Jon Allen. Feelix have just released their debut EP “The Open Doors EP” which has been a great success so far and Sheffield keyboard player Ryan Taylor now joins the band to add another dimension to their sound.
