Kissy Sell Out Live + D.J set + Eddy Temple Morris + L.J Freeman + Geoff Ticehurst + Floorfillers + Christopher Bibby
Plug welcomes back KISSY SELLOUT once again, only this time it's twice as good as normal.... Not only is he set to smash the place with one of his insanely good DJ sets, but he's also bringing his live band to the venue with him for the first time for a full live set too. Two Kissy's for the price of one. Bargain!! The live set has come about due to the recording of this debut album. ‘Youth' was released earlier this year on his own record label called San City High and it's been a labour of love for the dj/producer, taking him a whole year to make. Featuring vocals from Danimal Kingdom, as well as killer club instrumentals like "Harriet" it's taken the music press by storm. "The Electro album of the Year" (SUNDAY TIMES CULTURE) and "Kissy knows how to put a thumping sequence of beats together...like a bizarre cross between The Streets and Lady Sovereign, this album is nothing if not 11 tracks of pure unashamed fun" (ARTROCKER ) are just two of the excellent reviews the release has garnered. He's also a much sought after DJ. Now with his own show on the mighty Radio 1 (Every Friday night from Midnight til 2am) his star is very much in the acendency. As for his club sets.... Well, if you've been at the club the last couple of times he's played you'll know he tears the roof clean off with his high energy mash-up of electro synths, huge basslines and massive breakdowns. All 100% pure fun. Throw in plenty neon, some air horns and a whole load of old skool rave vibes and you've got yourself a wicked night. Joining Kissy once again will be the Plug residents. Warming up with some serious electro house business will be GEOFF TICEHURST and peeling the crowd off the ceiling to knock them all down again at the end of the night will be LJ FREEMAN. This will be class! Floor Fillers Christopher Bibby has played in all the UK's major cities at some of the best club nights. At Shuffle he will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now: Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the ProdigyHe's presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and he comes back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
