Shuffle presents Jakwob + Grum
For the fourth weekend in May we’ve decide to mix things up a bit and bring a special Shuffle which will bring you everything from Disco to Dubstep. Joining the super hot dubstep headliner JAKWOB we have disco genius GRUM.
Jakwob aka James Jacob may be a youngster at just 20 years of age, but his production and DJ skills are those of a seasoned veteran. First coming to the dance scenes attention with his huge remix/bootleg of Ellie Goulding's 'Starry Eyed' he's since gone on to remix the likes of Empire Of The Sun, Temper Trap and has remixes forthcoming for the likes of Audio Bullies. His style mashes genres, combining dubstep with trance, ghetto-tech and breakbeat (to name a few) and his DJ sets are similarly eclectic and rock everything from dub, hip hop, drum and bass to dubstep and anything else that he fancies making fit. Basically a lot of fun crammed into one set...
Joining him to bring some four four beats to the floor is disco don GRUM. Graeme Shepherd is a producer gathering props across the board from the likes of Annie Mac, Zane Lowe, Pete Tong and Armand Van Helden. Producing some seriously hot disco tinged house music his tunes have been taking the club world by storm for the last year. Check out the massive Can’t Shake The Feeling to see what all the fuss is about. Pull on your disco pants, it’s going to be a good one.
Over in the Live room it’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the venue for more weekend escapism.
