Shuffle presents James Zabiela + Tom Budden + Floorfillers

March sees no sign of letting up as yet more world class guests land in the DJ booth. This week it’s the technological wizard known as JAMES ZABIELA, joined again by the fast rising star TOM BUDDEN

After his debut set for us at Shuffle last year for Plug’s 3rd birthday we were literally straight on the phone on the Monday begging for a return date. James always delivers, every time, but as all the regulars there that night will say this went beyond anything we’d seen at Plug before.

He’s gained a reputation as a DJ that embraces all the new technology he can find (sponsored by Pioneer no less and he even brought a pair of the brand new CDJ 200’s last time) he took his tracks and re-edited them on the fly using all the tools of the trade… blending loops, samples, and often layering more than one track at once, he whipped up a full on aural assault that laid waste to the Shuffle dancefloor. It’s with great pride we welcome him once more into the Plug DJ booth.

Joining him on the night is someone who’s star is very much on the rise. TOM BUDDEN is making waves on the house scene with his awesome ‘Tree Dance’ tune and subsequent releases being championed by everyone from Richie Hawtin to Danny Howells and Sasha the future looks very bright for Tom.

Over in the Live room it’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the venue for more weekend escapism.

At Shuffle they will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now: Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy.

They have presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now they come back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
