May continues with another huge line-up gracing the decks at Sheffield’s best weekly club night Shuffle. The mighty ZOMBIE DISCO SQUAD headline, joined by Edinburgh’s fidget house legend HOSTAGE.

We’re very very excited about finally getting the Zombie Disco Squad guys to Plug. They’re an act on a steep rise to super stardom, and we’re very happy to have secured a date to show you guys what all the fuss is about.

Lucas Hunter & Nat Self are gathering major props from all the best DJs for one simple reason… they don’t just DJ and produce your bog standard house music. Taking influences from Balie Funk, African rhythms, Baltimore, Hip-Hop and Fidget they blend it all into a fresh new sound. The Zombie Disco sound.

The boys have picked up support from across the board with Jesse Rose signing them exclusively to his Made to Play label and Claude VonStroke requesting a single release on his DirtyBird imprint. 2009 was really their breakthrough year with a residency at Panorama Bar in Berlin, tours with Made to Play, the releases on DirtyBird and Made to Play and that production sound that is second to non. If you’ve been to Shuffle at all over the last year then you’ll definitely have been grooving along to their sounds. Both Geoff and Lee hammer their tunes regularly.

Hostage is a very hard working man. If he’s not rinsing his trademark tough electro fidget wonky house mash-ups in the clubs then he’s making them in the studio. Over the last couple of years he’s played all over Europe, US, Asia and Australia bringing a heady mix of rave, electro and house to the bass-hungry masses. 2009 saw a rapid rise into the limelight through much increased BBC Radio 1 support culminating in a live and explosive Radio 1 Essential mix with Annie Mac in January 2010.

His tracks are a firm fixture in the sets of the most in demand DJs from Crookers to Annie Mac and his big tune of 2009 'I Get High' saw extensive DJ and radio attention. He smashed Shuffle last time he played, and it’s with great pleasure we invite him back once again. Combined with the ZDS lads we don’t expect many people left standing at the end of the night. You have been warned!!

Over in the Live room it’s FLOORFILLERS bringing its Saturday night magic into the venue for more weekend escapism.

Christopher Bibby and Ollie Hayes(Hallam FM) need no introduction.

At Shuffle they will be dropping the biggest dance anthems selected from the best years of your life, mashed up to the bangers of now:

Dizzee meets Pendulum, Deadmau5 rubs up to David Guetta, whilst Calvin breaks down into Faithless, Darude and the Prodigy.

They have presented specialist radio shows across the airwaves, interviewed the stars and took on the finest of international dj's and now they come back to play every week in the best city in the land, Sheffield.
