Sound presents Mistajam DJ Set

MISTAJAM (Radio 1/1xtra/Speakerbox)

MistaJam is a UMA award winning and MOBO award nominated DJ and Radio presenter for BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra.

His BBC Radio 1Xtra show is broadcast every weekday between 7pm-10pm. The show covers the best new black music across the genres and was intended to bridge the gap between the mainstream and specialist worlds. Nicknamed 'the key to the underground', the show also features live music including monthly sessions from the BBC Maida Vale studios named 'Jam Sessions'.

His show on BBC Radio 1 "1Xtra Mixtape with MistaJam" is on Saturdays between 3-5am. The show is part of Radio 1's Black Music strand on Saturday nights. In the show, as well as guest mixes and MistaJam chopping his way through current and future black music hits; Jam challenges the listeners to put his mixing skills to the test with his "Mission Mixpossible" challenge.
