Uprising 10th Annual Charity Event & TDK's Farewell Party

...Charity begins at home and for the tenth year running it also begins the Uprising party year in 2011. Over the past nine years you’ve shown your support for our nominated charities to the tune of £31,000 which is a fantastic achievement in any ones book. As is now firmly an Uprising tradition we’d like you to casst off you’re post Christmas and New Year blues and come stomp the night away with us, celebrate a decade of supporting good causes and get your next decade of partying off to the best start possible. Keep your eyes on the Uprising website for details of just how all the money you’ve raised has been used.

Whilst this is the start of a new party year and decade it’s also the end for one of Uprising’s long established favourite DJ’s TDK. After much consideration he’s decide it’s time for TDK to retire from the stage to spend more time with family and to concentrate on other projects and work behind the scenes. We’re sad to see him go but we are sure he’ll still be around in the background somewhere. So if the Charity event alone isn’t enough we are sure coming along to help us give TDK a fitting send off on this his last ever appearance on stage will be.
