Uprising: Return of the Vibe Tribe

Uprising became infamous in the northern rave scene (if not The UK) because it had, and still has, a philosophy that the event is only as good as it's residents and Uprising was based around a well selected group of resident dj's and mc's who could keep any crowd rocking as well as any big name. That is why you always had a great night no matter who the guests were. We believe we have stayed true to that philosophy through the years and that is why Uprising is still as strong today as it has been anytime over its 14 year existence.

We don't know of any other event that can put together its old residents and get a bigger turn out of hardcore ravers than when they put on all the latest headliners. Even more impressive, the residents from 95-99 have been branded by the ravers as "THE VIBE TRIBE" and when "THE VIBE TRIBE" is mentioned you know exactly who they are and what you can expect. A lot of people don't know this, but between 96-98 Uprising had another resident Mc who was part of "THE VIBE TRIBE" era and is more than worthy of the title. Uprising is where he began to master the unique style he maintains today and he is The Mighty MC STORM.

Uprising has created another 2 brands over the years. "THE FUTUREDOME" which is based on pushing the best in up and coming dj's & mc's to help get them through the ranks and of course "ONE VISION" which as many know is based on the hard dance side of the scene and is becoming very well known locally and nationally within the scene. In fact One Vision have already brought over some of the biggest hard dance names in the world. Since we've never done it before, we thought why not, for the first time ever, bring these two brands together under the same roof and see what happens. We think a Futuredome V One Vision arena is going to totally go off so you might find it hard to decide which arena you are going to dance in.

We think the only thing left to say in the words of "THE MIGHTY Mc Natz" is "if it wasn't for the oldskool we wouldn't be here tonight" so bring on "THE VIBE TRIBE"
