Originally a songwriter and guitarist with numerous bands, it was the interaction between dance floor and DJ on the underground dance scene that brought Greg Zogg back to music after a decade of compulsive traveling and cave exploration.
Greg has developed a distinctive, energetic peak time style, blending techno grooves with NRG and trance elements. The overall sound created has an undeniably psychedelic edge to it and is flexible enough to enthuse a range of dance floors in both indoor and outside environments.
His search for just the right kind of cross genre tunage led to the founding of Planet Zogg Records and a number of classic productions supported by the outstanding technical skills of Ben Fraser. The mission of the label: 'joining the dots. from trance. to techno.to psy' The label has flourished with a couple of classic vinyl releases to date, and there are plans to follow these up with a number of more recent tried and tested Planet Zogg anthems in the near future.
Greg has played at all but one of the 60 + planet Zogg parties as well as holding a residency for the BristolPortugal's legendary Psycedelic culture event, The Boom Festival, The Glade Festival, Antiworld Indoor Dance festivals, The Synergy Project and the massive 07/07/07 festival. based 'Ripsnorter' events.
