Oh James Zabiela. He makes me happy. James Zabiela. I feela fiiiine. James Zabiela when the doors are open. James Zabiela when it's closing time.

Yes, James Zabiela sounds a bit like tequila. But whereas tequila is a feeelthy Mexican spirit, which will make you reel, possibly retch, and ultimately make a fool of yourself, James Zabiela is a very nice man who just happens to be a jaw-droppingly, mind-blowingly good DJ. (Don't take my word for it, the very rarely wrong general public voted him the Best British DJ in a DJ Magazine poll last year, and he's consistently found lording it in the upper reaches of the international Top 100 DJs poll.) Also, whilst we're overjoyed by the news that James Zabiela, one of our favourite DJs to ever grace the UG decks, is returning to dazzle us once again with his unmatchable technical mastery, the last time I saw tequila returning I was doubled over in a toilet cubicle feeling distinctly less than overjoyed. So, in short, in spite of the rhyming, tequila and James Zabiela aren't very much alike. And James Zabiela is fantastic.

But who's this Jim Rivers fellow? His name may be less interesting (though it does rhyme with shivers and livers) but those who know have already been marked out as the next big thing. He was specially selected by Sasha to support him at the launch of his new Invol2ver album (and young DJs that have received such public approval from Sasha in the past include...um...James Zabiela). He collaborates regularly with another superb talent and UG favourite Paolo Mojo (most recently on "Ron Hardy Said" released earlier this year on Eric Prydz's Mouseville label), and his newest solo single dropped last month on Will Saul's Simple imprint. John Digweed's also got in on the act commissioning him for a special EP for the relaunch of Bedrock recordings, and people from Satoshi Tomiie to Felix Da Housecat are positively gushing with praise for his skills. So he's super-hot, and here's your chance to get to see him before he gets super-big. I'd recommend you do.

Continuing the rhyming theme, support comes from Adam Tonsil and Jonny Clownsfriend. It's gonna be face. Don't kiss it.
