One thing I didn't expect from FOALS tonight was the intro - Greek Sing-a-long, which, to me, sounded like Benedictine monks at a rave. Tonight's line up is an independent music fans dream. Forget the 'indie' world with its chart hits, bland rhythms and product placing attitude, this isn't the indie music you expect to be brandishing front covers of magazines. It's the music you stand by, support and believe could one day hit the big time, whereas in truth, deep down the future isn't so bright.

The place is rammed full of people who probably were about when Patti was first coming into the spotlight (unlike this reviewer). A thin figure in tight jeans, big black suit jacket and “a t-shirt bought from Debenams”, her features are faring well over the years.
