He's back. The King of Kings, it's time for the return of a man that is House music in 2008. The don of the celebrated Swedish house mafia, the sound of the weekend personified and that rare beast who manage to straddles accessibility whilst hauling in the purists, whipping floors into frenzies time and time again. It can be only one... Steve Angello returns to the Plug.

One of the hero's of the club since it's opening; Steve Angello's rapidly asserted himself as one of the biggest draws in modern dance music. Through his own massively important Size records, he's brought the best of house music to the forefront, pushing forward sounds as varied as the dub soundscapes of Dutch vixen Shinedoe to the rambunctious techno of Laidback Luke, via the shimmering synth heavy output of fellow mafia cohort Sebastian Ingrosso and German whiz kid Jewelz.

And his DJ sets, well they reflect this and much, much more. His sound has already seen two stunning compilations of powerhouse Ministry of Sound, a superlative selection for their Sessions series and one done in conjunction with Size last year. The globe regularly sees him hop footing from hot spot to hot spot, rocking abandoned warehouses in Berlin one minute, superclubs in Ibiza the next with a detour to the fields and festivals of Brazil in between. Revered around the world, Angello is a modern god.

Support on the night is thick and fast, with LJ Freeman and Tom lee firing the dance music cylinders with a sweltering blend of energetic house and electro and turbo charged grooves. Over in the second room the party keeps on being whipped up frenetically as Peeky and Dan Norris scour the outer rim of music's alternative feel good pop classics.
