Plug has three dressing rooms all with Wi-Fi internet access, comfortable furniture and a separate shower room, production office, tea and coffee making facilities, fridges and laundry.
A comprehensive range of Japanese, Chinese, Thai and European cuisine can be provided by local restaurants. Alternatively, we can arrange catering from a range of external suppliers.
Plug offers disabled access throughout and three disabled toilets. Staff can be made available to help disabled guests move around the venues by prior arrangement with the venue management.
Plug has an extensive range of premium spirits, liqueurs, continental beers (draught and bottles), fine wines and champagnes, as well as a diverse cocktail list.
We can arrange equipment hire at reduced rates. Please note that for safety reasons that any equipment brought into the venues must be accompanied by a P.A.T certificate.
Plug is available for private hire - the terms, conditions and rental fee depend on the nature of the event. Please contact email@example.com for further details.
Plug has a washing machine and separate tumble dryer (very popular with touring bands!). Detergent and softener are also available.
Plug became the first venue in Sheffield to be awarded a 6am licence for both liquor and entertainment in November, 2005.
We are open to take deliveries or load in bands from 10am everyday.
We request that all production is de-rigged and taken off the premises after the event unless alternative arrangements are made with the venue management.
Plug is conveniently located in the centre of Sheffield, between The Moor shopping precinct and Arundel Gate and is served by most city bus routes. The venue is a short walk from the train station, bus station and Hallam University campus and only a short taxi/bus ride from Sheffield University campus.
Plug has its own private parking area located behind the venue for up to three tour buses and 10 cars. Local on-street parking is metered but free between the hours of 6.30pm and 7am. There is also an NCP Car Park within 20 metres of venue.
Please note Plug does not undertake any birthday parties for persons under the age of 20.
We employ an S.I.A, licensed security team with both male and female supervisors, who offer pleasant, personable and a professional service. The venue also has a fully digital CCTV system. For the safety of our customers searches on the door are a condition of entry.
Plug employs professional sound and lighting engineers who will be happy to meet the requirements of an external event organiser. Please ensure that any sound checks prior to events are discussed with the venue manager.

The stage in Live room has already been graced with some of the music world's most exciting talent. The loading facility is from behind the back stage area from the venue's private vehicle parking area. We have a ramp from the stage to the loading bay. Stage dimensions: 7m x 8.7 m x 1.38m (height). Drum riser: 8ft x 8ft (1ft).
20% will be included on all the service fees quoted.
We request that any branding or dressing in the venue should be discussed with the venue management prior to the event.
Plug is a versatile venue combining three rooms Live, Neutral and Earth. Each room can be used separately, or as a combination. Plug has a capacity of 1,440, yet we can cater for a host of smaller events, whether for entertainment provision, live music, corporate events or private functions.
We pride our organisation on being friendly and co-operative with the comfort of our customers always of utmost importance to us. Please note that we can arrange to provide any specialist audio, visual or decor hire at a preferential rate should it be required.
Plug has three high quality video projectors and three projection screens and additional light boxes available for hire.
